Sichuan Engineering Technical College (SETC) is authorized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, which was founded in 1959. SETC covers about 1200 Chinese acres at present. There are perfect facilities for teaching, living and study. The campus has a wonderful environment for studying with abundant flowers, lakes and green trees.
SETC was confirmed to be one of the first-28 National Modal Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education in 2006. SETC has been concentrating on international exchange and cooperation since 1997. SETC has developed long-term cooperative relationships with UVU, SnowCollege, BYU, CanadaConfederationCollege and GBB Institute for Training and Careers in Germany. We have hired many foreign teachers or experts for short-term and long-term contracts. With the cooperative scientific research and effective work of these foreign teachers and experts, we have achieved great progress. Two foreign teachers in SETC, James Michael Parsons and Scott Peter Mitchell have received The 2006 Excellent Foreign Guest Teacher Award by the Education Department of Sichuan Province. And Scott Peter Mitchell has also received The 2007 Excellent Foreign Guest Teacher Award by the Education Department of Sichuan Province.

Requirements for the Candidates:
Be a native speaker of English and the pronunciation is pure.
The candidates need to work for one academic year or more.
The candidates need to be physically healthy.
The candidates need to have a BA or higher.
The candidates need to have a certificate in Teaching English as Second Language.
The candidates who have rich teaching experiences will be considered first.
Courses to teach:
Language Teaching: Audio-visual English, Oral English, Reading and Writing English, Business English etc.
Salary and Benefits:
Salaries will be paid according to your diplomas/degrees or job titles. You will also have a one-month holiday with salary.
Air-ticket: if the foreign teacher is to be employed for one academic year, SETC will provide him/her with a round air ticket (economy class) between his/her native country and SETC.
Living conditions: Free housing will be offered which is equipped with furniture, western style toilet, air conditioner/heater, color TV, refrigerator, washing machine, water cooler, gas stove, computer (connected with internet) and telephone etc.
Medical care: we will provide accidental casualty insurance to every foreign teacher.
